LED Array Design for Uniform Irradiation

This earlier research project studied how to optimize LED-array positions to produce uniform irradiance over a target plane.

Contributions

Developed a boundary-center matching algorithm to reduce intensity falloff near the target boundary.
Implemented kernel-estimation and approximate-solution routines for the illumination equation.
Built calculation software and reusable modules for engineering applications.
Presented the work at the Optics and Photonics Congress 2022 in Jeju.
